Real Madrid confim interest in Cristiano Ronaldo

The Real Madrid manager, Bernd Schuster, has confirmed the club’s interest in the Portuguese player, Cristiano Ronaldo, and is quoted as saying that they would pay 100 million € if necessary.
He made the comments to the German television channel DSF, also commenting that he understood the posture of Manchester United who do not want to sell the player.
‘I would do the same if I had a player under contract’, he said. ‘It would finally depend on Manchester, but the player wanted to come to Real Madrid, and we want him to’.
