It happened on the N-120 in Hospital de Órbigo. A married couple also lost thier lives in an accident in Málaga.

Four members of the same family have died in a traffic accident in Hospital de Órbigo in León. It happened as they were trying to overtake another vehicle on the N-120 in their BMW and lost control of the car which then left the road and overturned.

The only survivor of the married couple and three children is the father who is seriously injured. The driver at the time was a daughter. Emergency services say they could only help the single survivor when they arrived at the scene.

And in a separate accident in Archidona in Málaga province a married couple, aged 49 and 48, have died when their 4X4 vehicles was in collision with a lorry. They had crossed into oncoming traffic for reasons yet to be established on the A 92 just after 8am yesterday morning. It is possible that the rays of the low sun could have blinded the driver who was a local man.
