The 49 year old is accused of shooting a 20 year old man to death in the town on Thursday.

The judge in Court One in Elche has ordered prison without bail for the man who is accused of killing a 20 year old, Daniel, in the town by firing several shotgun shots. 49 year old José B.B. is accused of carrying out the killing at 1230 on Thursday in a house in the Plaza de España in Elche.

The motive for the killing was an economic debt between the man who has been arrested and the father of the victim. He told the court that the victim’s father had promised him a 900,000 € commission for the sale of a finca, and feeling tricked he had decided to kill the man’s son.
