Daniel Alves signs for Barcelona

Barcelona is thought to have paid Sevilla 30 million € for the Brazilian player.

‘I’ve come to the best club in the world!’ – The words of the Brazilian winger Daniel Alves who on Tuesday was crying during his departure from Seville football club and on Wednesday was already wearing the Barcelona strip when presented to the press in Cataluña.

At the presentation he was joined by the President of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, Sports Director, Txiki Begiristain and the side’s new Manager, Pep Guardiola.

Laporta described the signing of Alves as ‘very wished for’. Barcelona is thought to have paid Sevilla about 30 million € for the player who even had the courage to say a few words in Catalan to say how happy he was to be there
‘Estic molt content d’estar aquí’.
