New national 100m record in Spain

Angel David Rodríguez clocked 10.14 seconds.

Spanish sprinter, Angel David Rodríguez, is celebrating breaking the Spanish record for 100m, clocking 10.14 seconds at the meeting held in Salamanca yesterday.

The runner from Madrid said that he expected to break the record this year, but not so early. It means that he qualifies for the Spanish team in the Beijing Olympics.
