Civil Protection workers tried to encourage the animals out to deeper water.

Five small whales have been spotted just 300 metres off the Murcia coast at La Manga, close to the Entremares Hotel. Civil protection workers are spent yesterday afternoon trying to get the animals to move further off shore.

20 minutos reports that experts say the whales are not the common calerdón species seen in the bay, but were larger in size.
