Crop circles which appeared next to a motorway in Cataluña were made for a beer commercial.

The mystery of some crop circles which have appeared in Vacarisses in Barcelona has been solved.

The owner of the land, Ignasi Gibert, has now revealed that the circles have nothing to do with aliens, but were created for the filming of a beer commercial made at the end of last month. He said it took a team of ten people some five hours to make the design.

The Mayor of Vacarisses said the circles, next to the C-16 motorway, have created a great deal of interest and have been featured on many internet sites and in paranormal magazines.
