The PP controlled Town Hall say they are to appeal the fine.

Work inspectors have imposed a 60,000 € fine on the Partido Popular controlled Ibi Town Hall for allegedly employing three workers without a contract.

The inspection came some months ago after a complaint from a PSOE councillor, but news of it has only just been made public after being mentioned in a planning meeting.

The municipal authorities in Ibi say they are to appeal as one of the workers was self-employed and the other two were ‘occasional collaborators’.
