Información newspaper says that accommodation levels are down by 15 percent on last year in some areas.

Información newspaper reports today that there are hotels on the Costa Blanca which are offering full board accommodation for just 50 € a day during August.

The low prices for the high season come as the market faces an uncertain future with reports that many Britons are opting for destinations such as Turkey given the weakness of the pound against the Euro.

The paper says that the average reduction in hotel prices this year is some 10% compared to last and that the season on the Costa Blanca has seen an uncertain start with occupancy levels for the first half of this month some 15 points down on last year in some areas.
