Ex Mayor of Seseña charged with corruption

The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor has accused the ex Mayor of Seseña in Toledo for perversion of the course of justice, crimes against Hacienda and bribery.
The Socialist José Luis Martín, approved the PAU plan which allowed the developer known as Paco el Pocero, Francisco Hernando, to construct 13,508 homes.
It was as long ago as 2006 when the left wing coalition IU asked for an investigation into the matter after Martín was seen to be benefitting from ‘an unjustified increase in his assets’.
The current Mayor is Manuel Fuentes from IU.
