email this article Another 11 people are reported to be implicated in the case and more than 1 million images have been recovered.15 people have been arrested across Spain in police swoops against child porn on the Internet. The 15 are residents of Madrid, Navarra, Murcia, Asturias, Alicante, Cáceres, Castellón, Tarragona and Vizcaya and more arrests have not been ruled out in the case code-named ‘Fotograma’.
Investigations started after a tip-off from the member of the public in Badajoz who found pornographic material hidden in a document via a file sharing program. Another 11 people are said to be implicated in the case and numerous lap-top and other computer equipment has been seized, with an estimated 1 million photos and videos with paedophile images.
So far this year more than 250 people have been arrested in Spain for the possession and distribution of child porn on the Internet.
