Man killed by exploding tyre in El Campello

email this articleIt happened in the port when the tyre of a crane exploded. A second man was injured.
A 47 year old man has died and another 40 year old was injured in El Campello yesterday when the tyre of a crane burst. The crane was one used to lift boats out of the water to be repaired in dry dock.
It happened in the port at 1130 yesterday morning when the victim was revising the tyre of the crane. Both workers are Spanish and were working for a specialised company from Murcia.
