email this articleHealth inspectors have been out issuing fines in the region.Health inspectors working in the Valencia region have fined 2,267 establishments for being dirty. The number comes following more than 14,000 inspections, and more than 90% of the fines imposed are minor in nature with the owners of the business being charged 3,000 €.
Shops where food is prepared lead the dirty list, followed by butchers and fruit and vegetable warehouses and distribution companies.
