Explosive device damages branch of Barclays in the Basque Country

There were no injuries in the blast which took place at 5am this morning.

An explosion outside a branch of Barclays Bank in Getxo, Vizcaya in the early hours of Sunday caused damage to both the bank and a nearby home, but no injuries.

The Ertzaintza Basque police are investigating the composition of the device which went off at 5am in Avenida Neguri in the town.

The entrance and cash dispenser of the bank were damaged by the explosion.
