Fernando Alonso 11th in the German Grand Prix

The German Grand Prix was a race to forget for Fernando Alonso yesterday, in the words of the Renault chief, Flavio Briatore. He said the Spaniard was not comfortable in the race which was won in spectacular fashion by Lewis Hamilton.
A single pit stop and the safety car allowed the other Renault driver, Nelson Piquet, to finish second, but Alonso was the first to say that he lacked luck in the race in which he finished 11th.
