email this article The hot conditions are set to continue across the country over the weekend.The heatwave conditions continue in Spain with the Spanish Meteorological Office placing many parts of the country on Orange Alert as temperatures reach 40 degrees in the provinces of Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Córdoba and Sevilla.
Another twenty provinces across the country are on Yellow Alert with highs of 38 degrees centigrade in Cáceres, Badajoz, Jaén, Málaga y Granada.
The public is advised to take special care of children and the elderly, to ensure they do not suffer problems of dehydration or sunburn or heatstroke.
