Seven year old girl drowns in Cartagena pool

A four year old recovered from near drowning syndrome in La Manga on the same day, Friday.

A seven year old girl drowned on Friday from immersion syndrome in a swimming pool in Cartagena. It happened in an urbanisation at Islas Menores just before 8pm. Health officials were unable to revive the child on their arrival at the scene.

Coincidentally another four year old girl suffered the same syndrome in a pool in La Manga del Mar Menor, but she was able to recover.
