Police investigate death of man in Torrevieja

The dead man has a previous record for domestic violence and was arguing with his girlfriend when he allegedly threw himself to his death.
The Guardia Civil in Torrevieja are investigating the death of a man in his 30’s who had a previous record of domestic violence against his girlfriend.
She claims that he threw himself over a balcony into the patio below after threatening to do so as he waved a knife demanding she opened the door.
It happened in a residential block in Calle Los Molinos yesterday at 5.30 in the morning. Some neighbours speculated that the man could possibly have been Russian although that has not been confirmed by the authorities.
