The paintings belong to a private collector and go on show over the summer at the Dali Foundation.

The Dalí Foundation, at Figueres in Girona, is to show some previously unseen works by the painter this summer. Both the works, ‘Musics’ and El Berenar sur l’herbe’ date from 1921 and have been ceded to the Foundation by a private collector.

The paintings go on show today and will remain until the end of the summer, and it’s understood that the ‘Musics’ painting will be restored at the Foundation’s expense in return for having the two works over the summer.
