Police found 119 'maria' plants in his plantation in Orihuela.

National police have arrested a man in the Vega Baja who was selling marihuana which he had grown himself. The man had tried to hide his small plantation of 119 plants by placing palm trees in the same area where he had also installed a sophisticated automatic watering system. He is also said to have improved the quality of his crop by using specialist fertilisers and fungicides.

The 37 year old Spaniard has been named with the initials S.V.R. and will appear shortly in court in Orihuela.
