It happened in the early hours of this morning for reasons which are still being investigated.

A fire in the early hours of today has killed more than 100 pigs in a farm in Chiclana de la Frontera. Most of the pigs to die had just given birth to piglets and were kept separate as they were still milking.

Firemen in three tenders managed to stop the flames reaching other parts of the farm on the Camino de Coquina.
