Kamel Salhi has been on the run from the authorities in Algeria.

National Police from Alicante on Friday arrested Kamel Salhi, on allegations that the man, on the run from Algeria, is linked to the Islamic terrorist cell broken up in Spain last June 10th.

On that date there were police raids in Castellón, Barcelona and Pamplona, moving against a group allegedly linked to the financing of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Magreb (AQMI).

Dozens of false work contracts were found in Salhi’s home, for the regulation of illegal Moroccan immigrants, and bank documents were also seized along with computer material, audio tapes and books.
