The Spanish private television broadcaster has been fined for broadcasting the eighties series without permission.

Telecinco television in Spain has been ordered by the Supreme Court to pay 31,252 € for broadcasting 13 episodes of the eighties series ‘Remington Steele’ without permission.

The amount, ordered on appeal, is however considerably lower than the 181,000 first ordered by a Spanish court against the company in 1997.
