email this articleTheir small patera craft was spotted when still off shore.A patera small boat has been intercepted by the authorities off the Cádiz coast with 45 immigrants on board.
The vessel, carrying 34 men and 11 women, was spotted off the coast of Barbate to where it was escorted by the Guardia Civil at 2,30pm yesterday afternoon.
Once on land the travellers were attended to by the Red Cross. They now face repatriation.
