Tommy Robredo out of the US Open

He was beaten in five sets by Novak Djokovic.

Catalan tennis player, Tommy Robredo, is out of the US Open, beaten by the world number three, Novak Djokovic in five sets – 4-6,6-2,6-3,5-7 and 6-3.

Things started well for the Spaniard with a break of serve in the first game of the match and battle was served with Robredo coming up with some of his best-ever play. It’s the second long match for the Serb and means that Rafa Nadal is the only Spaniard still in the competition.
