email this articleThe three, thought to be from Ghana, said they had been in the container for ten days.Three immigrants have been rescued after spending ten days inside a container in Málaga port. They claim they had spent the last four days without food or water and showed signs of dehydration when found by a Red Cross team which arrived in the port at noon after a tip-off.
First indications are that someone heard the immigrants hitting the side of the container. They are thought to be from Ghana, and are now in the hands of the National Police who will organise their repatriation.
