Rafa Nadal's win against Andy Roddick ensured the Spanish win against the United States in the Davis Cup semi-finals in Madrid this weekend.

Rafa Nadal booked the Spanish Davis Cup team’s tickets for Argentina with a win on Sunday against Andy Roddick, 6-4, 6-0 and 6-4 in two hours 12 minutes after a delay for rain at the Ventas bullring in Madrid. Roddick tried beating Nadal by coming to the net, but there was no way, despite the tiredness of the Spaniard.

Spain faces Argentina in the final after they beat Russia 3-2.
Earlier the doubles pair Mardy Fish and Mike Bryan had kept the United States in the hunt after beating Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano López on Saturday.

Roddick had also been beaten by David Ferrer and Rafa Nadal won against Sam Querey on Friday to give Spain an early 2-0 lead.
