Sales are now at levels last seen ten years ago.

Difficulties in obtaining a credit and job insecurity are being blamed for the lack of new car sales in Málaga province.

Figures for September show that 1,763 cars were sold across the province over the month. The number is 41.2% down on the same month last year, with some dealers complaining that there are now days when not a single person comes into the showroom.

Sales have fallen to the levels they were locally ten years ago.
