The Spaniard hinted that he would be staying with Renault, but said he would make his decision public in Brazil.
Spanish formula one driver, Fernando Alonso, has said that he ‘more or less’ knows his future. He said that he has another year on his contract with Renault with the possibility of extending it, but he preferred to wait until Brazil before making his decision public.
Earlier this week BMW said they had no interest in using Alonso in the future, leading Alonso to comment that was never a possibility as far as he was concerned.
The man from Asturias is already in Japan for the next Grand Prix which forecasters say could be a wet one, but Alonso said he hoped it would be dry as it would help the Renault team to compare where they now were competitively.
