The municipal inspector is accused of asking for money in exchange for favourable reports.
The National and Local police in Marbella have arrested a municipal consumer inspector who is alleged to have asked for money in exchange for favourable reports on businesses.
The arrested man, named with the initials M.G. had the job of revising price lists and the complaints books and has been employed since the time of the GIL administration.
Two other people, not linked to the Town Hall have also been arrested in the case, charged with the falsification of documents. The case remains open and will come before instruction court 5 in Marbella shortly.
