Two flats were destroyed in the blast and 60 people have had to be evacuated from their homes.
A man has died in an explosion in Córdoba at 2145 last night. Reports say the blast destroyed at least two homes and part of the façade of a building in the Pozoblanco area of the city, and in addition to the fatality five people have been slightly injured. A fire took hold after the blast.
It seems that the man to die had previously threatened on several occasions to make a ‘bombona’ gas bottle explode.
Some 60 people have been evacuated from their homes.
