A further three of the travellers have been taken to hospital on the island.
There were two bodies among a Cayuco boatload of 130 immigrants which has arrived on the Santiago Beach at Alajeró on the Canary Island of La Gomera this morning.
Guardia Civil and Red Cross report that another three of the 128 surviving travellers are in a serious condition suffering from hypothermia. They have been taken to the Nuestra Señora Virgen de la Guadalupe Hospital on La Gomera.
The travellers are thought to have been at sea for some 8-10 days after departing from Guinea Conakry.
