The acccidents took place within an hour of each other yesterday afternoon.
Four people died and three more were injured in two traffic accidents which took place within an hour of each other in Orihuela and Crevillent yesterday.
In the first in Orihuela three cars and a moped were involved at the 1km point of the CV-91 at 3pm. Two Moroccans in an Opel Frontera were in collision with a 48 year old single driver in a Peugeot 309 and two students in a Renault 21. The driver of the Peugeot, named as J.R.S. died in the accident and the driver of the Renault, 18 year old H.Q.G. died on the way to hospital and his 17 year old passenger died at the scene of the tragedy.
In the second accident firemen from Almoradí were called to the CV-904 at 4,20pm where a head on collision had taken place between a car and an articulated lorry. A 64 year old man died there as a result of the crash.
