There were two arrests during the demonstration organised on the anniversary of the death of Franco.
Hot on the heels of a large protest calling for the nationalisation of the Banks earlier in the week, last night Granada saw the city centre taken over by some 200 youngsters demonstrating against fascism.
Two arrests, street vandalism and violent classes with the police was the result of the demonstration timed to coincide with the death of Franco. A police car was damaged and rubbish containers were set on fire in the street. The problems were centred in Calle Reyes Católicos and the Plaza del Carmen.
