The Regional President of Murcia says the Government is to spend three billion Euro to compensate for population growth in the regions.
The President of the Murcia region, Ramón Luis Valcárcel has revealed that central government is to spend three billion € to cover the increases in population seen in some of Spain’s regions.
The population changes have occurred since the last census in 1999 and will be compensated for in the new regional funding plans. Several regions of the country have claimed more money because of population growth, in many cases with the increase in the immigrant population.
