Fatalities in house fires in Javea and Benidorm

Three people have died in two house fires in the Valencia region over the weekend.
An 80 year old man died in Javea in the early hours. 0130am, of Sunday, where four other people had to be treated for smoke inhalation, and two other people, an 87 year old French man and his 86 year old wife, died in a fire in their home in Benidorm.
In the Benidorm case the flat was completely destroyed by the blaze which is thought to have been started by a traditional under-table stove. 60 people had to be evacuated from the building during the fire in Casa del Sol in Avenida Ametia del Mar.
