Two dead after shooting in Madrid discotheque

One of the dead was the doorman at the 'Heaven, Sala Palace' club, and is reportedly from Eastern Europe.

Two people have died in a shooting incident in a Madrid discotheque in Calle Arenal in the Opera area of the capital in the early hours of this morning at 3am. One of the victims was the 40 year old the doorman at the ‘Heaven, Sala Palace’ discotheque and is reported to be Eastern European.


SAMUR health services have attended to five people and say four are injured, one of them seriously reportedly shot in the leg.
National Police say the alleged shooter has been arrested.
Some reports say he entered the club and started shooting indiscriminately.
