It follows the loss of Abel Resino who was sacked by the club on Friday
Quique Sánchez Flores has been named as the replacement for Abel Resino as the manager of Atlético de Madrid.
The deal was agreed late on Friday, just hours after Resino departed following a series of poor results this season where the side has only won once in the league and is bottom of their group in the Champions League.
Quique Sánchez Flores has previously been manager at Getafe, Valencia and Benfica and will be presented officially at the club in the VIP hall of the Vicente Calderón Stadium on Monday.
