Another boat was intercepted off Cartagena in Murcia
A patera boat with eight male adult passengers on board reached the port in Motril on Monday morning after it was intercepted by the Civil Guard some 4 miles off Cabo Sacratif. The boat was detected by the SIVE surveillance system at around 7.30 am.
It’s understood that all the migrants, who are believed to be from Morocco, are in good health.
Another boat carrying 7 passengers from Algeria was intercepted off the coast of Cartagena, the Murcia Region, on Sunday afternoon. EFE said two of them were believed to be juveniles.
