The Portuguese star remains injured for Real Madrid

Injured Cristiano Ronaldo, who missed Real Madrid’s four goal defeat at the hands of Alcorcón in the cup on Tuesday has said he is not the saviour of the patria.

The Portuguese star admitted the side was not having a good time, and that he was anxious to return to the side.
‘The team did not play well, but we have to lift our heads. The world does not end because Real Madrid looses 4-0. It was bad, but will serve as a lesson for the next games’.

Ronaldo is expected to be out with his ankle injury for another week, missing the Champions League game against Milan.

Meanwhile there were two other surprises in the remaining King’s Cup first leg results of the fourth round on Thursday.
Racing were beaten by Salamanca and Villarreal drew with Puertollano.

The first leg results are now complete
Puertollano - Villarreal 1-1 Valladolid - Mallorca 2-1 Salamanca - Racing 1-0
