Remaining warm for the time of the year along the Spanish costas
There are Spanish Meteorological Agency Orange Alerts in place today for high seas and strong winds along the coasts of Cantabria and the Basque Country.
There are Yellow Alerts along the rest of the northern coast and also in Tarragona, Castellón and off Menorca and Mallorca.
Today the weather splits cleanly into north and south on the mainland. Very cloudy with showers, moderate in times extending across Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria. The rain will clear later in the day though, but the chance of a light shower will remain anywhere in the northern third of the country and on the Canaries.
The rest of the mainland and the Baleares will see clear skies and sunshine with the exception of some morning mist in Castilla y León.
Winds weak to moderate Westerly or NW, but with strong intervals on the Cantabrian coast, in the Pyrenees, the Ebro valley and on the Balearics.

Costa del Sol, Costa Almería – partly cloudy conditions for the rest of the week with highs in the low 20’s.
Costa Cálida, Blanca – Some cloud and unseasonal high temperatures continuing tomorrow, but cooler from Thursday.
