A British man has been charged with starting a fire which affected 1.4 hectares of scrub in the Las Fuentes area of the city on October 6 this year.
Named with the initials W.T.G.L., Diario Sur reports he faces charges of negligence after carrying out an unauthorised fire in his finca in the area, which led to the blaze.
