Mónica Cabello says she does not know what to put on in the morning

A Málaga taxi driver, Mónica Cabello, has been fined for driving her cab in a skirt.

She is one of the few self-employed taxi drivers in the city and has already faced two denuncias for allegedly not being dressed adequately behind the wheel, according to article 41B of the Municipal Taxi Regulations. On both occasions it was the same complainant and she has had to pay a 320 € fine.

The regulation concerned states that you have to be clean and washed, correctly dressed and with the correct footwear when on duty, wearing upper clothing with sleeves, short or long, and long trousers or skirt.

Mónica claims the rule discriminates against women and says that her main concern before she starts her shift is now what to wear.
