British Consul in Alicante visits Murcia Friday

Informal meetings with the media are planned
The British Consul in Alicante, Mrs. Janine Lamont, is visiting Murcia today. It’s her first visit to the region since she took office, and has the idea of improving the availability of consular services to those Britons who live in the Murcia region.
This year celebrates the 500th anniversary of the establishment of permanent diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdom, making it oldest such relationship for the U.K.
Informal meetings with the media are planned during the visit.
