Generally clear skies in the eastern and southern part of the country and more rain in the NW
Rain again in the NW, mainly light to moderate but heavy in some areas, with a yellow alert for persistent rainfall in parts of NW Castilla y León and the Cantabrian Mountains. Lighter rainfall moving in to the N of Extremadura, the Basque Country, the N of Navarra and the western and central Pyrenees later in the day. Skies clearing in the NW towards the end of the day.
There’s a yellow alert also in place for the western Canary Islands and Tenerife, where showers, heavy in some areas, are expected, accompanied by storms. Cloudy intervals for the rest of the islands.
Mainly clear skies in the rest of Spain, once morning fog has cleared away inland on the peninsula and from the Andalucía Mediterranean coast.
Weak to moderate northerly winds on Canarias, weak to moderate southerly on Baleares. Generally weak winds for the rest of Spain, with southerly and westerly moderate to strong intervals in high areas of the Meseta Central.

Outlook: early morning fog in many areas, but a dry day for Wednesday, with mainly clear skies across the country. Some cloudy intervals in the NW and Canarias.
