The Partido Popular claims he bought 4,000 Euro of fuel with the cards
The governing team at San Roque Town Hall has been investigating the alleged misuse of a number of municipal credit cards and has identified two people who could be guilty of unjustified massive overspend.
The Partido Popular Mayor, Fernando Palma, named one as Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix from PSOE, who was formerly councillor for tax at San Roque Town Hall, who is said to have bought more than 4,000 € of fuel on municipal credit cards. The Mayor noted occasions when Ruiz Boix allegedly filled up his tank three times in one day.
The other person identified is the former councillor for the environment, Miguel Núñez.
It’s understood the Town Hall hopes to prevent any reoccurrence by supplying the vehicles which are used by the councillors and municipal staff from a 5,000 litre tank they plan to install.
