An unsettled weekend on the way for most of the country

The Spanish AEMET Meteorological Agency has again issued a yellow alert for the rough seas off the coast of Galicia.
Elsewhere there are no warnings, but the unsettled conditions continue in many areas.

Persistent rain is forecast for the West of Galicia, with moderate falls which could extend to Asturias and León.

Cloudy intervals in the rest of the western half of the peninsular, and elsewhere generally clear skies with just some high cloud at times.

Morning mist possible in many areas.

Winds weak moderate southerly in the NE of the mainland, and strong in Galicia.
Weak to moderate E winds in the Strait and along the Andalucian Mediterranean coast and the Canaries. Weak and variable elsewhere.

Outlook
A partly cloudy weekend is forecast for the costas, with a 10% chance of rain on the Costa del Sol on Sunday.
Other coasts should remain dry over the weekend and Monday and Tuesday will see a return to sunny conditions.
