Exciting games for the Spanish sides in the Europa League on Thursday night
The Argentinean player Kun Agüero was the hero on a night which saw Atlético into the quarter finals of the competition with a 2-2 draw in Sporting Lisbon. It’s 11 years since Atlético made the last eight in an European competition.
A spectacular scoreline of 4-4 saw Valencia qualify in Bremen. Valencia’s manager Unai Emery said he’s never seen such a crazy game which saw a hat-trick for David Villa. He got the decisive goal also in the 66th minute of the match which saw the lead change several times.
