Anti drug operation on Almeria beach

Almería Civil Guard have arrested 5 people in an anti-drugs operation on Balanegra beach which seized 3.5 tons of cannabis.
They set up surveillance on the beach after a boat was spotted approaching the coast on Sunday night. The crew of the vessel managed to escape arrest, but five people who were unloading the drugs onto a waiting lorry were taken into custody.
They are all different nationalities: Spanish, Colombian, Lithuanian, Russian and Moroccan. The lorry was stolen from a vegetable wholesalers in Vícar last September.
