Valencia cycling team out of Tour de France

Their invitation was withdrawn by the organisers after the doping scandal involving their former assistant sports director
The organisers of the Tour de France have withdrawn their invitation for the Valencian regional cycling team to take part in this year’s event, starting on 1st July.
The decision was taken because of the team’s assistant sports director’s implication in the doping scandal which hit the sport in Spain last month, despite the fact that he has not held the position since 1st June.
